How To Make A Solar-Powered Device ?
Solar energy is now widely used in the everyday life. You can see different devices that work due to the solar energy. We can use the solar energy with the help of the solar panel. It will transform the power of the sun into electricity.
To get the solar-powered device is not so cheap. That is why you can make a device with your own hands and then fix the solar panel on it. You can create any device you want – starting from the small lamp and ending with the huge motor. The main thing you should pay attention on is to match the voltage of the solar panel and the device. Sometimes you need to mount the solar panels in series to get the proper voltage.
For example you have made up your mind to create the motor of 24-volt. To make it work, you should get the motor and 2 solar panels of 12-volt DC (direct current). The solar panels must be bought or you can make them yourself. The main idea in creating you homemade solar panels is to put the certain amount of solar cells (the amount depends on your choice and needs) into the mount frame.
Then you have to unite the cells with the wire and then you can use your solar panel. Two solar panels must be put in series. Next your task is to unite the solar panels and the motor in one device. You will combine them into one with the help of the wire. While doing it, pay attention that the wire has two ends, the red one and the black one. The red end is positive and the black one is negative. You have to be cognizant about the ends while making the device. Get the black (negative) end of the wire of one of solar panels with the red (positive) one of the other. Thus you have 2 solar panels connected in one series.
After that your aim is to connect the series with the motor. Link the positive end of the motor with the negative wire of the panel and do the same from the other side meaning connect the negative end of the wire with the positive one of the series.
Now your device is almost ready and it only needs to be adequately charged. Put the device under the hot sun and pay attention that the solar panel must not be situated in the shadow. After being charged your solar-powered device is ready for being used!
